Refrigerant Management & EPA Certification (2-2) 3 Credits This course will cover proper refrigerant handling techniques. Lecture/labs will also include topics including characteristics of refrigerants, recovering, recycling, and reclamation, recovery cylinders, leak detection, and dehydration processes pertaining to small appliances, high pressure systems, and low pressure systems. The course will prepare students to take the Environmental Protection Agency’s Section 608 Refrigerant Certification Exam.
