Engineering Economy (3-0) 3 Credits This course introduces the principles and techniques of engineering economic analysis used to evaluate and compare engineering projects and alternatives. Students will learn to apply time-value-of- money concepts, cost estimation, and economic decision-making methods to real-world engineering depreciation, taxes, and replacement studies. Emphasis is place on practical applications in engineering design and project management, supported by hands-on exercises and case studies. By the end of the course, students will be able to make informed economic decisions that optimize resources and meet technical and financial objectives.
