Framing and Finishing (2-2) 3 Credits This course is based on the NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research) Level 2 Carpentry Fundamentals: Framing and Finishing and is designed to provide a broad range of information and hands -on practice to students in the fundamentals of construction. Topics include roofing applications, thermal/moisture protection, exterior finishing/siding, and cold-formed steel framing, drywall installation/finishing, doors/door hardware, suspended ceilings, trim for windows, doors, floors and ceilings, and cabinet fabrication/ installation. (Prerequisite: CONS 105 or Permission of Instructor)
