Introduction to Computer Science (3-2) 4 Credits Instruction is given on the techniques of structured and object - oriented programming. The class assumes no prior programming experience. It is required for Pre-Engineering and Math majors and is recommended for students in any academic or career vocational major who need to have skills on how a computer can be programmed as a problem solving tool. The course topics will include: elementary syntax, functions, classes, objects, control structures, user defined data types, arrays and data structures. (Prerequisite: MATH 134 or MATH 135)
