Students are encouraged to speak with the Finalancial Aid Office regarding other possible funding sources including Workforce Pell. (Subject to applicable federal and institutional guidelines) Certified Medication Technician (CMT) This workforce certificate program prepares students for employment as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT). The Certified Medication Technician workforce certificate program is an expanded role of the Certified Nurse Assistant. The CMT workforce certificate course is a preparatory course to prepare the individual for employment as a certified medica- tion technician in an intermediate care or skilled facility. This course teaches skills in administration of non -parenteral medications that will qualify students to perform this procedure to assist licensed practical nurses or registered profes- sional nurses in medication therapy.
