Family Violence (3-0) 3 Credits This course develops the student ’s ability to think critically about the dynamics of violence between victims, offenders and other household members in shared relationships. This course focuses on response, recognition, and assessment of violence including signs and symptoms displayed by the parties involved. The overall goals of the course are to deepen the students ’ skills in the assessment of family violence and in responding legally and ethically where violence has occurred.
