Patrol Operations (2-2) 3 Credits This course is designed to integrate the academic and practical aspects of the basic patrol function for a law enforcement officer. The course examines patrol officer’s duties, functions, and responsibilities as well as providing techniques to effectively respond to varied calls - for-service. The course includes lecture and practical applications in the areas of officer safety, traffic stops, contact and arrest, traffic enforcement, natural disasters, and other duties as they relate to the basic patrol function.
