Crime Scene Processing (2-2) 3 Credits This Course covers the actions of the initial responding officer at the crime scene. Students will learn the nature of physical evidence, processing methodology, basics in crime scene assessment, photography, sketching, mapping, and proper documentation techniques. Students will be required to demonstrate they can properly collect evidentiary material that can withstand the scrutiny of the legal system. This is the practical portion of criminal investigation that law enforcement officers are required to demonstrate on a daily basis.
