Principles of Managerial Accounting (3-0) 3 Credits This course provides an introduction to managerial accounting and its use in decision making. The student will become familiar with the various types of manufacturing processes and how financial information is calculated, collected, interpreted, analyzed and then utilized to make operational decision for manufacturing operations. This course places an emphasis on the creation and use of key reports such as Income Statements, Contribution Margin Statements, Budgets, and specific Analysis Reports for proposed actions and evaluations of performance.
