CRJ5495 — Introduction to Firearms
2 hour(s) Elective Type: Elective Description: This course is designed for people ranging from inexperienced with firearms to a moderate level of firearm experience. Students will learn basic firearm safety and through this course they will be instructed on the basic operations of pistols, rifles, and shotguns. Through a combination of classroom, simulator and range training students will enhance their level of firearms knowledge and proficiency. This course is open to anyone enrolled at Cowley College. NOTE: Students must earn a “C” or better to receive credit toward a technical degree, certificate, or continuance into Any exception would require department approval.
