CRJ5495 — Introduction to Firearms

2 hour(s) Elective Type: Elective Description: This course is designed for people ranging from inexperienced with firearms to a moderate level of firearm experience. Students will learn basic firearm safety and through this course they will be instructed on the basic operations of pistols, rifles, and shotguns. Through a combination of classroom, simulator and range training students will enhance their level of firearms knowledge and proficiency. This course is open to anyone enrolled at Cowley College. NOTE: Students must earn a “C” or better to receive credit toward a technical degree, certificate, or continuance into Any exception would require department approval. External background checks conducted within six months of the class start date and presented to the instructor will be accepted. Course
