It also focuses on the constitutional requirements as well as other requirements that affect law enforcement practices and procedures. Specific topics include confessions and interrogations, identification procedures, arrest, search and seizure, and the admissibility of evidence. This course studies principles of criminal procedures as they apply to important areas of jurisdiction and venue, complaints, warrants, bail, and criminal trial proceedings. NOTE: Students must earn a “C” or better to receive credit toward a technical degree, certificate, or continuance into Any exception would require department approval. Prerequisite(s): None Course
