4 hour(s) Elective Type: General Education Core - Natural Science Lab (T►) Kansas Regents System Wide Transfer Course: [KRSN BIO2030] NOTE: MUST COMPLETE BIO4148 AND 4149 for Transfer Equivalency Description: This course represents the first of an eight credit hour Anatomy and Physiology course and is designed to provide students with a thorough study of the anatomy and physiology of the human body. The student is expected to enroll in the second half of the course ( BIO 4149 ) during the same academic year, and both courses (BIO4148 and BIO 4149 ) must be taken to be equivalent to BIO4150 - Human Anatomy & Physiology (T►) (SGE) . Lecture and lab studies will include: organization of the body; cells; tissues; membranes and glands; skeletal; muscular; nervous; sensory and endocrine systems. NOTE: For online classes 40% of the course grade will come from proctored assessments that will include a face to face final exam at one of the Cowley testing locations. Alternate proctoring arrangements may be made with instructor consent. Course Classification: 2 cr. Lecture/2 cr. Lab Course
