MUS 2123 — Music Survey (Majors)
Advanced listening course, designed to acquaint the music major with a broad overview of musical style and repertoire from antiquity to the present. Students will demonstrate a basic knowledge of historical periods, composers, and musical forms. Students will assess representative works through evaluation of selected listening and score examples. Three hours lecture per week.
