DET 1114 — Fundamentals of Equipment Mechanics
A course to review and update of safety procedures; tools and equipment usage; handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous materials; operating principles of diesel engines; and selection of fuels, oils, other lubricants, and coolants. Three hours lecture and two hours laboratory per week.
