Emphasis is placed on reading, discussing, and critically analyzing dramatic literature influenced by social and cultural forces. Attendance at selected local theatre events is required. Emphasis is placed on the development of effective acting techniques through physical and vocal exercises, improvisation, and pantomime, culminating in the performance of scenes from selected plays.
