Units: 5 Lecture Hours: 90 Lab Hours: 0 Outside Hours: 180 Grading Method: Letter Credit Status: Credit, degree applicable Conditions of Enrollment: Prerequisite: SPAN 103 with a minimum grade of C This intermediate course, taught within the context of Spanish and Latin American culture, is a continuation of the study of essential Spanish grammar and formal composition. Through oral and written practice, students further expand their Spanish vocabulary and use of idiomatic expressions to express more complex ideas. Students read materials of representative Spanish and Latin American authors and participate in daily conversations. Note: Only offered in spring. Note: The prerequisite for this course is comparable to four years of high school Spanish.
