This course is part of a one-year algebra- and trigonometry-based survey of physics. Topics covered include ki- nematics, statics, dynamics, momentum, energy, rotation, gravitation and planetary motion, fluids, kinetic theory of gases, and thermodynamics. In addition, the course covers elasticity and vibration, wave motion, interference, standing waves, and sound. *Note: the maximum UC credit allowed for students completing PHYS 120, 122 and PHYS 1 50, 1 52, 250, 252 is one series; deduct credit for duplication of topics.
