Different methods designed to address these challenges will be explored. The course covers a time period from post 9/1 1 to present. Topics associated with border security and security for transportation infrastructure include ships, aircraft, railways, pipelines, and highways. Additional topics include technological solutions employed to enhance security of borders and transportation systems. Students will discuss the legal, economic, political, and cultural concerns as well as impacts associated with transportation and border security.
