Units: 2 Lecture Hours: 36 Lab Hours: 0 Outside Hours: 72 Grading Method: Letter Credit Status: Credit, degree applicable Conditions of Enrollment: Prerequisite: ACR 121 with a minimum grade of C This course covers the study of electrical and electronic components, motors, and circuitry for air conditioning and refrigeration controls. Students apply theoretical principles in diagnosing electrical and electronic problems and safely make necessary repairs to Refrigeration, Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. Energy efficiency practices and process related to electric and electronic controls are the focus of this course. Note: Only offered in fall.
