MECH 1351 - Autonomous Robots MECH 1351 - Autonomous Robots This lab-based course uses a hands-on approach to introduce the basic concepts of robotics, focusing on the construction and programming of autonomous mobile robots. Students will first learn the basic principles of mechanical construction, electronics, sensors, motors and robot programming and then work in groups to build and test increasingly more complex mobile robots, culminating in an end-of-semester robot project.
