FCT 2200 - Motion Picture Sound Recording FCT 2200 - Motion Picture Sound Recording Introduction to sound recording techniques, practices and equipment. This course covers the basic principles of audio theory and techniques used in recording sound on location and in studio environments, as well as, in production and post-production applications. Topics include basic physics of sound, digital recording devices, boom microphones and wireless sound devices. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of technical audio terms, recording techniques and basic principles of capturing live audio. (NT)
