CEN 110 - Modern Dance Techniques I CEN 110 - Modern Dance Techniques I This is a foundational level, movement-based course that introduces the concepts and techniques of modern dance. This course is designed for students with little or no previous dance experience. Students will participate in exploring the technique, theory, and historical contributions framing modern dance. Through this class, students will be encouraged to focus on improving coordination, balance, core control, strength, spatial awareness, and performance. This course meeting three hours per week. Course may be repeated for a maximum of six credits. Division: WODC
