EMS 232 — Paramedic Clinical 2
Continues the field experience started in EMS 231 and is designed to expose the student to disease and injury conditions comparable to those experienced by paramedics in pre-hospital care situations. Explores multiple departments within the hospital/clinical setting, enabling the student to see a wide distribution of patient situations. Includes direct patient care necessary for completion of program objectives. All skills are first taught in EMS 220, EMS 221 and EMS 222 in a classroom setting before being performed under direct supervision in the clinical setting on live patients. This is the second course in a two-course clinical series.
