EET 252 — Digital Logic & PLCs II
Expands upon the digital logic and Programmable Logic Controllers fundamentals learned in EET 251. Introduces the Function Block Diagram (FBD) and Sequential Function Chart (SFC) programming languages on the Allen-Bradley PLC platform. Covers 120v control with a PLC using interposing relays, three-phase AC motor control with a PLC using a networkable motor drive, and PLC to PLC communication over ethernet. Includes a 3 hour per week laboratory.
