ED 219 — Civil Rights & Multicultural Issues in Educational Settings

Examines multiculturalism in the context of personal and professional interaction with students, schools, communities, and workplaces. Explores the diversity of learning cultures (e.g., urban, suburban, rural) as well as the diversity of learners that exist within those different cultures. Provides an opportunity to reflect upon one’s own culture and how it may influence personal learning and teaching.

Prerequisites: MTH 65, MTH 98, WR 121, WR 121Z
