BA 224 — Introduction to Human Resource Management

Studies the basic principles, concepts and practices of Human Resource Management. Examines the specialty areas of job analysis and design, recruiting, selection/hiring, training and development, performance appraisal, compensation, labor-management and employee relations, and safety. Reviews key employment laws and cases to understand legal implications of employment decisions.

Prerequisites: IRW 115, WR 115, MTH 65, MTH 98
