VET 1031 - Equine Management VET 1031 - Equine Management 1.0 Credits The college may also use previous academic history, including high school information, for placement. This course is designed to provide students with a basic knowledge of the equine. Topics include breeds of horses and their uses, general care of the horse, equine grooming and hoof care, nutrition and feeding of the horse, tack and tack care, equine leg care and basic lameness, equine disease, and vaccination.
