Includes exposure to industry standard field measurement tools, techniques, processes and how to evaluate quality of data collected. Focus: field and remote observations of periodic snow, weather, and avalanche observations; recording data to industry standards; interpretation of data; safe travel in and around avalanche terrain, selection of safe and relevant observation sites.
