ESS 4400 - Watershed Science ESS 4400 - Watershed Science 4.0 Credits Explores watersheds as interconnected biotic and abiotic systems essential to ecosystem function. Integrates principles from hydrology, geology, climatology, soil science, and ecology to understand how physical watershed structure influences biological community processes. The course emphasizes human impacts to hydrogeomorphology and freshwater ecosystem health, from water quality to watershed resilience. Includes hands-on experience in field and laboratory techniques.
