EDU 4460 - Foundations of Biliteracy EDU 4460 - Foundations of Biliteracy 3.0 Credits Also requires Spanish language proficiency. Prepares teachers to be knowledgeable, understand, and apply the foundations of biliteracy theory, models, pedagogy, and research in relation both to language and content, and to literacy and content instruction. The course addresses programmatic aspects of bilingual education and their relationship to bilingual student’s sociocultural, academic, and linguistic biographies.
