EDU 3350 - Social Studies Methods EDU 3350 - Social Studies Methods 2.0 Credits Prepares teacher candidates to integrate the content of social studies with other core disciplines. Teacher candidates will learn how to support students in using critical thinking, self-assessment, reasoning, problem-solving, collaboration, research, and investigation to make connections in new and innovative ways as they progress through social studies education. Teacher candidates will also understand how the Colorado Academic Standards outline the knowledge and skills needed to young people develop the ability to make informed and reasoned decisions for the public good as citizens of a culturally diverse, democratic society in an interdependent world.
