CHE3121 — Lab - Organic Chemistry I
CHE 3121 - Lab - Organic Chemistry I CHE 3121 - Lab - Organic Chemistry I 1.0 Credits Topics covered in Organic Chemistry I lecture will be reinforced through hands-on experience. The essential techniques in organic chemistry, including recrystallization, distillation, reflux, and extraction will be developed. Physical property characterization will be explored as well as applying instrumental techniques to identify, separate, and analyze organic compounds. Various spectroscopy and gas chromatography techniques are introduced to enhance practical skills in organic synthesis and compound identification. Emphasis is placed on data analysis and scientific writing. LAB 30
