Upon successful completion, students can earn a nationally recognized two-year certification through The American Red Cross designed to participants recognize and respond appropriately to emergencies requiring use of basic first aid, CPR, and/or AED use for an adult, child, or infant. Students will learn life-saving techniques and emergency response strategies aligned with current professional health and safety standards through instruction and practice in CPR, rescue breathing, and first aid for obstructed airway of an adult, child or infant.
