BI177 - Biology I w/Lab BI177 - Biology I w/Lab 5 Credit(s) You will learn about life characteristics common to both plants and animals to enhance the perception of the need for a continued inquiry into molecular biology practices, understanding of biological advances in various fields of relation to future student courses of study, comprehension of the impact of established biological concepts salient to future biological science research to include select philosophical and political implications. Application of the scientific method in the laboratory to include an emphasis on scientific thinking, experimentation, data handling, and problem-solving will take place. This course is designed for students in areas of study that require a strong biology background.
