AUT120 — Brake Systems
Lecture: One lecture. Lab: Three lab. A study of braking systems used on light duty, medium duty, and hybrid vehicles with an overview of heavy duty (air) brakes. This will include theory, operation, construction, maintenance, testing, diagnosis and repair of drum brakes, disc brakes, antilock brakes, hydraulic brakes, electronic brake controls, and regenerative braking systems.
