Course Title: Introduction to Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) 2-6-0 Instructional Materials: $200 Semester Offered: Spring Modality: Face to Face Location: Beeville, Alice, Pleasanton, High School Pre-Requisite: WLDG 1307 or in conjunction with WLDG 1307 TSI Requirements: None An introduction to the shielded metal arc welding process. Emphasis placed on power sources, electrode selection, oxy-fuel cutting, and various joint designs. Instruction provided in SMAW fillet welds in various positions.
