HLTH 206 — Human Sexuality and Your Health HLTH 206 3 Credits/Units
Exploration of the connection between personal choices and sexual health across the life cycle. Using multiple perspectives, students examine social, cultural, and historical influences on human sexuality while analyzing systems of power, privilege, and inequity (PPI) that shape sexual attitudes, behaviors, and access to sexual health resources. Topics include sexual biology, gender identity, gender expression, and physical and emotional attraction, as well as the development of personalized behavior change strategies to promote safety, advance sexual health, and foster equity and inclusion.
