ART 257 — Painting I ART 257 5 Credits/Units

Introduction to the principles and practice of painting through basic theory, composition, and color. Assignments approach painting observationally through still life, landscape, and the figure with conceptual prompts encouraging expression and criticality. Classes may include a nude model.
