MBC 135 — Law and Ethics for Healthcare Professions

This course introduces legislation affecting healthcare, along with a review of issues such as professional liability, informed consent, privacy and security laws, electronic health records and workplace legalities. A variety of ethical issues in health care are explored, as well as an examination of future trends in health care.
