MBC 115 — Insurance Billing and Reimbursement I

First course of a two part series. This course introduces the student to health insurance, insurance billing and reimbursement. Students will study the health insurance industry, legal and regulatory issues, and differences in reimbursement methods. The principles of medical billing will be covered, including proper claim form preparation.
