ENG 296 — Adaptation: Literature Into Film

Explores the genre of film adaptation, or how literary narratives were transformed into films. Focuses on literary genres such as the novel, short stories, plays, and nonfiction to compare them with their film counterparts, and thereby understand the process of translating stories from the page to the screen. Note: This is a literature course and not a writing class.
