CJA 209 — Fundamentals of Patrol: Law, Tactics, and Use of Force

Students will identify and explain the principles of modern police patrol by analyzing strategies and observation techniques that move beyond theory to the application of constitutional and statutory requirements. Students will integrate officer safety tactics with legal, ethical, and policy requirements by evaluating complex scenarios and justifying their actions.
