The 1000-hour Barber Teacher Training Program aims to provide licensed students with less than three years of salon experience and the opportunity to prepare, train, and develop skills necessary to teach Barber students or any practices related to the Barber industry. This training will allow individuals to enter a skilled workforce, promote personal and economic growth, contribute to community stability, and provide and improve quality of life. This course is intended for anyone with an active State of Illinois Barber License, without three years or more of salon experience, pursuing further education by obtaining a Barber Teacher’s License.
