ENGL 2321 — British Literature

A survey of the development of British literature from the Anglo-Saxon period to the present. Students will study works of prose, poetry, drams, and fiction in relation to their historical, linguistic, and cultural contexts. Texts will be selected from a diverse group of authors and traditions. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisites: ENGL 1301, ENGL 1302 “To avoid duplicate credit, students who take ENG 2321 should not take ENG 2322 or 2323.”
