CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (Long Term Care)

This program is designed to prepare Nursing Assistant students for employment as Certified Nursing Assistants and to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in this occupation. The program provides a broad foundation of knowledge and skills for the role of Nursing Assistant. Upon completion the graduate will be prepared to take care of patients in the health care facility (e.g. hospital, nursing home). Successful completion of the program qualifies the student to take the state certification exam for employment as a Nursing Assistant.
