STA2023 — Statistical Methods
In this course, students will utilize descriptive and inferential statistical methods in contextual situations, using technology as appropriate. The course is designed to increase problem-solving abilities and data interpretation through practical ap - plications of statistical concepts. This course is appropriate for students in a wide range of disciplines and programs. Prerequisite: A grade of “C” or higher in one of the following courses - MAT 1033 or eligible for MAC1105, or consent of the department. Credit will not be granted to students who have previously received credit for STA 2122. A “C” grade or higher must be earned to advance to a higher-level mathemat- ics course or to satisfy part of the general education requirements in mathematics.
