ENGR 1850 - Introduction to Engineering Design ENGR 1850 - Introduction to Engineering Design (2 Credit Hours) Introduction to the design process in engineering and computer aided design including: historical perspective, problem definition, idea generation, project planning and management, simple decisionmaking, development of visualization skill, interpretation and construction of 3-D objects through the use of sketching and basic computer-aided design software. Design exercises culminating in a conceptual group design project, with application of basic engineering science. Written and oral reports included. Concurrent: ENGR 1011, MATH 1720.
