EETC 2322 - Photovoltaic Installation and the NEC EETC 2322 - Photovoltaic Installation and the NEC (3 Credit Hours) A review of passive (thermal) and photovoltaic solar systems. Includes basic principles of each system, components, efficiencies, installation considerations, and the NEC regulations for residential and commercial installations. Lab exercises will include using wiring components, connectors, cabling, etc., tools used for installation, performance measurements, conversion of sunlight into electrical energy, energy storage experiments such as battery charging.
