PCTA 1100 — Patient Care Technician
Introduces student to the role and responsibility of the Patient Care Technician. The course begins with a review of Nurse Aide Skills and expands to include blood drawing techniques, EKG measurement, basic wound care, basic respiratory care, colostomy care, and bladder catheter insertion.
