PMT 1135C — Gas Metal Arc Welding
This course will enable the student to safely use the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW) processes. Students will receive hands-on practice welding the five basic joints in multiple positions, emphasizing flat and horizontal. Students will demonstrate the ability to identify and use the correct electrode wire types, diameters, shielding gases, and transfer modes.
